When I go to install the OS I can prepare the partition and all looks ok until installation. I cannot find any information about what to do if lsusb detects a USB stick but fdisk does not. Fedora-Workstation-Live-x.6.iso: Works fine, all hard drive can be properly detected. Boot is 1gb Fat32, Root is 216.71 gb Ext4, Swap is 28.09 gb Ext4. I used Gparted to delete the boot, root and swap partitions and create new ones. Booted up using Live USB, in my case USBsdb and HDDsda Deleted all partitions.
However, if GParted terminated abnormally it could leave this file on the computer. This file is removed when GParted exits normally.

I am trying to make an installable Windows USB stick in Linux Mint. First I booted to the USB via recovery settings of windows 10, as I hear that's how you boot in EFI mode, or get the right boot mode (still learning). Created live boot USB using most recent versions of ATB Vanilla, Caroline, Eve, and Cromefy.sh. GParted version 0.3.6 (and many earlier versions) created a file to prevent problems that occur if a device is automounted while GParted is working on the device.
